Jobs: Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers to hire 60 for new restaurant

PHOENIX -- In a time when more Arizonans than ever are looking for jobs, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is looking to expand its employee roster.

The restaurant is opening its second Phoenix location and will be hiring 60 people to staff it.

The new location is at 44th street and Thomas Road.

The restaurant is hosting a two-day hiring fair next week. Those hoping to land one of the 60 positions can apply in person Nov. 29-30, noon-8 p.m. at the Marriott Residence Inn, 801 N. 44th Street, Phoenix. Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers personnel will be set up in the Sierra Vista Room.

As the name might convey, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers specializes in chicken finger meals.

"At Cane's we're all about ONE LOVE – chicken finger meals," wrote founder Todd Graves on the restaurant's website. "We're committed to serving the highest quality chicken finger meals as fast as we can, in a friendly, clean restaurant. And best of all, having FUN while doing it."

Raising Cane's opened its first Valley location at Peoria Avenue and Interstate 17 in September. A third restaurant is slated to open in Tempe in August. 2012.

Founded in Baton Rouge, La., there are now 100 Raising Cane's Chicken Finger restaurants in 15 states.
