PHOENIX (AP) -- Two Buckeye men have each been sentenced to 20 years in prison in connection with a death of an alleged accomplice during a burglary.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 21-year-old Matthew Christopher Peters and 19-year-old Joseph Lambert Domingo Metcalf Jr. were sentenced Friday for second-degree murder under the felony murder rule.

They were arrested in October 2010 after a dead body was found in a trash container in the Tonopah area.

The body found at a truck stop was later identified as 17-year-old Johnathan Michael-Andrew Greth.

Authorities say Greth was involved in the burglary of a Tonopah home, allegedly with Peters and Metcalf.

Investigators say a neighbor chased the three men as they were fleeing the home, fired a weapon at them and Greth was hit in the chest.
