Glendale police seek person of interest in sexual assault

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Glendale police are seeking a person of interest in connection with a sexual assault.

Sgt. Brent Coombs said a woman was sexually assaulted at her home near Orangewood and 43rd avenues just after 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The suspect was not known to the victim.

Police said the suspect contacted the victim at her front door and forcibly entered the home.

Jacob Harvey is being called a person of interest in this investigation and Glendale sex crimes investigators would like to speak to him.

Anyone with information on Harvey's whereabouts is asked to call case investigator Tom Sye at 623-930-3725.
