Tucson headlines: Wildcat bank robber; Cocaine seizure

TUCSON, Ariz. -- There are two things known about the latest serial bank robber in Tucson, he apparently supports the Arizona Wildcats and he likes to rob banks.

Tucson police say he struck again over the weekend, this time at a Chase Bank inside a supermarket at Broadway and Houghton.

He's described as white, 35 to 45 years old, about 5'10" with a heavy build and 200 to 225 pounds.

He's worn U of A gear in all four of his recent hits.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- U.S. Customs and Border protection officers seized more than 60 pounds of cocaine Sunday.

A 26-year-old Mexican man was trying to enter the U.S. from Nogales.

That's when officers noticed something strange with the fuel tank on the man's truck.

A canine was brought in to check out the truck, leading officers to the drugs hidden in the tank.

The suspect was arrested on international drug trafficking charges.
