MESA, Ariz. -- Mesa police arrested a man they say threatened several neighbors with a gun during an argument over a parking space.

Police said Jason Griswold came home Friday night and found that a vehicle was blocking his assigned parking space at an apartment complex near Stapley Drive and Southern Avenue, according to Sgt. Ed Wessing.

He became upset and got into a heated argument with other residents.

Wessing said Griswold then retrieved a handgun from his apartment and threatened at least five people in the parking lot with it.

Police found Griswold in his apartment and took him into custody without incident. He was booked for five counts of aggravated assault.
