Pet of the Day - MaxwellPosted: Updated:
#707827 – 1 Year Old – Pointer/Pitbull Mix – Male
What happened to Maxwell is anybody’s guess but this sweet boy certainly didn’t have an easy start to life. Found as a stray in the middle of summer, Maxwell was scooped up by a kind animal-lover who tried her best to find him a home. During his stay, Maxwell was a terrific guest – great with the dogs and cat, excellent about asking to go outside when nature called and always appreciative of a good snuggling. So it was with a heavy heart that Maxwell’s finder brought him to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. This terrific boy was eventually adopted but quickly returned for trying to herd the visiting nephews. Because of this, Maxwell should go to a quiet home without children. Now Maxwell is just waiting for the right person. Among his many interests, Maxwell enjoys fetch, hanging out with his dog friends, playing with squeaky toys and curling up on the couch (which he will only do if invited). As a small boy about the size of a Beagle, Maxwell is a terrific traveling companion and would love to see where his adventures take him in the passenger seat of your car! Please get to know this easygoing gentleman today at the HSSA. You'll be so glad you did!
