PHOENIX -- Phoenix police have arrested a school teacher on sex abuse charges.

The alleged incident happened Oct. 31 at the Arcadia Learning Center on North 62nd Street. Police say 60-year old Thomas Weaver groped two girls, ages 12 and 11, inside the school library. One of the girls said Weaver commented on their necklaces then groped their breasts.

School officials immediately called police. Detectives arrested Weaver Wednesday at his home. He's been charged with two counts of sexual abuse and one count of aggravated assault.

Detectives are not aware of any additional victims at this time.
