Grijalva hosts water supply discussionPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Congressman Raul Grijalva meeting with researchers Monday to discuss our water supply.
Experts say Arizona is losing ground water. Monday morning researchers discussed solutions such as using reclaimed water, requiring water utilities to better inform customers and creating a commission to oversee water rights.
Congressman Grijalva co-hosted the event.
"If we keep going at this pace without any consideration of water capacity in this state then not only are we in trouble economically but in terms of our own social well being," said District 7 Representative Raul Grijalva.
