Tess Rafols interviews Executive Director Matt Lehrman about Theatre, Music, Dance, Art, Festivals & Cultural Attractions. This week features:

1)    Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice: at the Grand Canyon University Arena, on Saturday, November 12, at 7:00 p.m.  The live show, part of the Pandora NBC Skating Series, kicks off the holiday season with music and figure skating. Starring musical guests Mannheim Steamroller and American Idol runner-up David Archuleta, hosted by 1992 Olympic champion Kristi Yamaguchi. Featuring many Olympic and world ice skating champions.

2)    Veteran’s Day Salute: presented by West Valley Symphony on Sunday, November 13, at 3:00 p.m. at the Valley Vista Performing Arts Center in Surprise. The West Valley Symphony is offering active military $5.00 off tickets. This program honors America’s service members. Patriotic blockbusters will be featured: Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man,” “The Lincoln Portrait,” the Richard Rodger’s score created for the World War II documentary “Victory at Sea,” and, marches by John Philip Sousa.

3)    ShowUp for Veterans: presented by in partnership with Veteran’s Tickets Foundation (’s way of saying “Thank You” to veterans and active military members, by giving deeper discounts on the already discounted tickets.
