PD: Robbery suspect demands oxycodone at Walgreens

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police released a surveillance photo of a suspect in a robbery at a Scottsdale pharmacy.

Police said a thin white man in his 20s entered a Walgreens near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda at approximately 8:45 p.m. Tuesday and confronted the clerk.

The suspect demanded oxycodone and said that he had a gun, according to Scottsdale police. The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of the drug.

No gun was seen and no one was injured in the incident.

The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black knit cap, black goggles and gloves at the time of the robbery.
