College Football All-Star game coming to TucsonPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- College football in Tucson, in January and not leaving. And that is a good thing.
This College All-Star game used to be known as the Blue-Gray classic and for years was played on Christmas Day.
The contest has been consistently on the move in recent years but now hopes to make it's home in Tucson.
The Pasqua Yaqui Tribe signed on for the next three years as title sponsor of the the All-Star game which will be played on January 16, Martin Luther King day at Kino Stadium.
Arizona Sports Group expects the game to have about $1 million impact on the local economy.
