TUCSON, Ariz. -- In just 10 days Casino del Sol will open the doors to its new multi-million dollar resort.

Wendell Long is the CEO of Sol Casinos.

He says they broke ground for the resort in February of 2010 and business is already headed their way despite a down economy, "We already have an  access of $2 million in bookings from across the country and actually some from outside the country."

The 10 story hotel has 215 rooms including 10 suites where there's a TV in the bathroom mirror.

Outside there's a pool with a beach front entrance and VIP cabanas. PY steakhouse will keep visitors' bellies full and a giant conference room will keep them entertained.

"The largest ballroom in Tucson.  We're elevating our entire package.  We're raising expectations of our guest to a higher level,"

In addition to new amenities, the casino has added jobs to the Tucson economy.  About 500 construction positions and more then 350 people will work at the resort.

The future of Casino del Sol doesn't stop at the resort and spa.

Long says they have plans to build a golf course and retail space in the future.

The official grand opening of the resort will be on 11-11-11.
