GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a man who apparently took advantage of Halloween to dress up and rob a Glendale CVS pharmacy.

According to investigators, a man wearing latex gloves and a Ghostface mask (similar to the one above) from the "Scream" movies walked into the CVS near 75th Avenue and Bethany Home Road at about 7 p.m. Monday.

Police say the man pulled out a gun, robbed an employee and then fled the scene.

While the initial call was for shots fired, there are conflicting reports about whether the suspect actually fired his weapon. Nobody was hurt in the course of the armed robbery.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene to try and track the suspect but the team came up empty.

Detectives have very little information at this point.

The suspect is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing. Because he was wearing the mask, nobody got a look at his face.
