PHOENIX -- After a chilly start in the upper 40s and low 50s, the Valley will warm up to the mid 80s today under sunny skies.
It should make for a great night for watching high-school football with temperatures around kick-off in the upper 70s.
Overnight, high clouds are expected to move into Arizona and keep overnight lows just a couple degrees warmer.
After a morning low of about 61, the Valley is expected to warm up to about 86 degrees Saturday under partly sunny skies.
Arizona State University celebrates homecoming this weekend against Colorado, with a parade at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and a block party following at 12:30 p.m. Temperatures should peak in the 80s right around the 3:30 p.m. kick-off that afternoon.
Sunday is expected to be a couple degrees warmer, with a sunny and warm Halloween expected as well.
Temperatures Monday should top out near 88 degrees, dropping to the 70s by trick-or-treat time.
