ASU's Frank Kush to be roasted, honored at Legends Luncheon

TEMPE, Ariz. --  -- The ASU Alumni Association and the Sun Devil Club will hold the Legends Luncheon 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 340 N. Third St.

College Football Hall-of-Fame Coach Frank Kush, who spent 22 years at Arizona State University and had a incredible overall record of 176-54-1, will be honored at the event.

Escorted by Sparky, Kush's son, Danny, who played in 1975, and Steve Matlock, who played on the 1970 that won the Peach Bowl and the '71 and '72 teams that won the first two Fiesta Bowls, stopped by to chat with Pasmore about Kush and the big event.

Some 200 former ASU players are expected to take part in honoring Kush.

Tickets for ASU Alumni Association and Sun Devil Club members are $55, or $550 for a table of 10. Nonmember tickets are $60, or $600 for a table of 10. Sponsorships start at $1,000, which include nine seats plus a former Sun Devil Football player.
