Make some outdoor plans this weekend!Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Temperatures will finally come down from the upper 90s we've experienced in the past week, but we still expect a warm weekend ahead. It appears low 90s are in store for us as our ridge of high pressure weakens slightly.
This ridge has been parked over the Southwest for days now, bringing near-record heat.
Nights and mornings have still been cool, with temperatures lowering to the 50s and 60s across the Valley.
That weather pattern won't change over the weekend.
Next week looks to feel more like fall, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s and even cooler overnight lows.
A storm system is expected pass by to the north of us, bringing cooler and breezy weather, but no rain.
