PHOENIX -- Police are turning to the public to help find a man who is wanted for sexually assaulting a clerk at a Phoenix adult store.

The suspect has been identified as Michael King Jr., 23, but he has not been located. He is described as a black man, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He weighs between 140 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a pink button-down shirt over a black or blue undershirt, baggie blue jeans and a black do-rag at the time of the attack.

Investigators released two still photos taken from the store's surveillance cameras, as well as two photos from a convenience store in the area. Police say the suspect is armed and dangerous.

King is wanted for several violent felony offenses and currently has a parole violation warrant out for his arrest.

The incident happened Oct. 17 at the Pleasure Palace at 16th and Van Buren streets.

According to Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police department, the suspect, who was armed with a gun, pulled a female clerk across the counter and threatened to kill her during the attack. The man got away with the small amount of cash that was in the register.

Anyone with information about King is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6141 or call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
