TEMPE, Ariz. -- Police are asking for the public's help to find three suspects responsible for a series of armed robberies at fast-food restaurants in Tempe and Phoenix.

Tempe police said the suspects are operating as a group and have robbed six Subway and McDonald's restaurants.

During the incidents, one or more of the suspects arrived at the business typically around opening or closing time. The suspect then used force to direct the victims to the back of the store while pointing a firearm at them. The suspect then demanded cash and fled the restaurant.

In an incident Monday morning at a McDonald's at Priest Drive and Baseline Road, one suspect robbed the victims, fired shots into the restaurant ceiling, and left the scene in a white van with brownish wood-style panel striping down the side.

To date, no victims have been seriously injured.
