James Roday and Dulé Hill fired up for 6th season of 'Psych'

PHOENIX -- The sixth season of "Psych" is premiering this week on USA, and stars James Roday (Shawn Spencer) and Dulé Hill (Burton "Gus" Guster), whose mandate on the show is "to predict and serve," are rarin' to go.

Kaley O'Kelley chatted with Roday and Hill Monday morning, and they say the show is going strong with no end in sight.

Roday's character is a novice sleuth with a gift for noticing details who lands a job with the police after conning them into believing he's a psychic. He teams up with his reluctant best buddy, played by Hill, to solve all sorts of complicated cases.

According to USA, "Psych" is, "All of the law, None of the order."

The show is known for its rapid-fire humor and the entertainment references you get five minutes later. USA's tagline is "Characters welcome," which is why Roday and Hill fit in so nicely.

Timothy Omundson, Corbin Bernsen and Maggie Lawson are also series regulars.

This season's guest stars include William Shatner, Danny Glover and Molly Ringwald.

The sixth season of "Psych" premieres Wednesday. Check your local listings for details.
