1 Killed, 1 wounded in shooting at partyPosted: Updated:
GLENDALE – What started as a complaint about loud music Friday night turned into a death investigation.
Officers responded to home near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road. There was a party going on and a neighbor had complained about the noise.
Detectives said a man was found shot to death.
Investigators believe the man was in the backyard when he was shot. He then staggered to the sidewalk where he collapsed.
A second man had been shot, as well, but he is expected to recover.
It’s not clear if the two men were acquainted. Police have not released the name of either man.
At this point, investigators do not know what led up to the shooting nor do they have any suspects in the case.
Detectives were talking to other people who were at the party in an effort to try and piece everything together.
