GILA BEND, Ariz. -- Maricopa County sheriff's detectives arrested a suspect in the murder of a 26-year-old man whose body was found in the desert north of Gila Bend.

The partially buried body of Eric Patrick Morales was found near the Old U.S. Highway 80 and Enterprise Road on Sept. 18.

Relatives last saw Morales on June 8. He had told them that he was having some problems with some guys and that he was possibly going to leave town, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives learned that a man named Robbie Brown had been staying at Morales' apartment at the time of his disappearance and was possibly involved in his murder.

Detectives went to Brown's house in Buckeye and served a search warrant. He later admitted that he and his brother, Christopher, were involved in the murder.

Robbie Brown was later booked into the Maricopa County Fourth Avenue Jail for first-degree murder, concealment/abandonment of a dead body and hindering in the first degree.

Homicide detectives continue to work on this case.
