Tucson headlines: Marana student run over; Man found dead in car; Judge rules against Loughner

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A junior year student at Marana High School was airlifted to UMC after getting run over by another student's car in the parking lot after class.

Marana police say the male student was horsing around after school and jumped onto the hood of a moving car.

When he fell off, he was accidentally ran over.

His injuries were not life threatening and he is expected to recover.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Pima County Sheriff's deputies are asking for help finding suspects in connection with a homicide over the weekend.

It happened Sunday evening in a neighborhood near Benson highway and south Palo Verde Road.

Detectives say a neighbor heard shots fired, then called 911.

When officers arrived they found 40 year old Eduardo Ramirez Lavender dead inside a car.

Witnesses reported several men leaving the area.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A request to keep the accused January 8 shooter in Tucson has been denied.

Federal judge Larry Burns ruled against Jared Loughner's lawyers.

They want to delay his return to a Missouri prison hospital until an appeals court rules on another request.

Loughner's lawyers want to stop the forced medication of the client.
