Keep some of your summer by wearing some flirty crop tops paired with your favorite distressed denim. Colors are still bold and prints are still inventive. We’re sure that we’ll see a few girls at our local fashion mixers wearing this style, especially since it is still over 100 degrees outside.
Do you still love wearing your maxi dress? I do. You don’t have to put it away quite yet ladies! You can use a cropped denim jacket or a knitted shorts sleeve bolero to change this look. You can also put a cropped blazer or a leather jacket on top of your edgy Maxi to give it more personality and at the same time it will provide some warmth if the weather cools down. If it doesn’t, you’ll still look fabulous! This comfy look is versatile so don’t be afraid to keep wearing this look.
I’m sure you all still live in your summer shorts, right? Here in Arizona where our first day of fall is still in the hundreds, try to keep wearing them for as long as you can transition into fall. You can pair them with leggings, tights or if you have to, a pair of riding leather boots. You can wear an oversized tee and drape if off the shoulder with a cami underneath for a comfy, casual day look. Don’t forget to add fedora or military style cap to complete your outfit.
You can follow the same rules with the floral dress as you do with the maxi. Use form fitting jackets and over sized jewelry. If you want to add an extra edge to the look a pair of army booties will give you that oomph.
So keep your tank tops and flirty summer blouses out for a little while longer my friends.
