PHOENIX – A Paradise Valley man was tied up with bedding during a robbery early Monday morning.

A man in his 50s called police just after 3:30 a.m. and said he had just been robbed at his home near Lincoln Drive and 36th Street.

He told police that he was asleep when two males came into his bedroom and announced a robbery. They tied him up with some of the bedding and put a pillowcase over his head, according to the Paradise Valley Police Department.

Officers said the man had a security system, but the alarm was not armed and there was an unlocked door on the property.

The suspects took some personal property from the victim, including jewelry, cash and a 2006 silver E350 Mercedes Benz with Arizona license plate 098SYR.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 480-948-7418.
