Man shot and killed in midtown Tucson neighborhoodPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson police say a man has been shot and killed in the midtown area. It happened Tuesday night in the 3100 block of North First Avenue.
Police arrived around 10:30 p.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound in a parking lot near First Avenue and East Delano Street.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses said the victim was speaking with multiple people outside a residence when he was shot.
Wednesday police identified the victim as 24-year-old Jonathan McKinney.
The shooter or shooters have not been identified and a motive for the killing has not been determined.
