Jobs: Shutterfly hosting job fair for seasonal positions

Posted: Updated:

PHOENIX -- Shutterfly is looking to hire hundreds for seasonal positions and CORESTAFF Services is helping them out by hosting a job fair Tuesday.

There are 600 positions available in Arizona and hundreds more throughout the country.

CORESTAFF Services, one of the top 20 staffing firms in the world, has teamed up with Shutterfly to fill those Arizona positions. CORESTAFF Services will be doing the hiring and then assigning the new employees to Shutterfly or Tiny Prints, which is a Shutterfly brand, for the peak holiday season.

Shutterfly picked up the "Great Place to Work" award from the Great Place to Work Institute in 2010. It also was named one of the most admired companies in Phoenix by Best Companies Arizona.

Tuesday's job event runs through 10 a.m. at Shutterfly's headquarters, 4410 E. Cotton Center Boulevard, which is west of 48th Street and south of Broadway Road in Phoenix.

"I'm excited just to work -- just to work," said Andrew Armenta, one of the many who attended Tuesday's job fair. "I'm just happy to be employed."

There will be additional hiring events on Wednesday, 3 p.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

While the work is seasonal, there will be additional opportunities for CORESTAFF employees throughout the year with other companies that are CORESTAFF clients.
