Mid to high-90s over weekend; triple-digits back MondayPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Temperatures are still fairly mild in the wake of an exiting low-pressure system.
Valley residents woke up to upper 60s and low 70s Thursday morning under partly cloudy skies.
There's about a 30 percent chance of rain today in the high country of Arizona, but the deserts, including the Valley, should stay dry.
Afternoon highs will top out around 95, which is about five degrees below the Phoenix average for today's date.
Afternoon highs will slowly warm up over the next few days, with triple-digits returning by the beginning of next week.
The weekend is looking pretty nice, with highs in the upper 90s and lows in the mid 70s. The next seven days look mainly sunny and dry.
