PHOENIX -- Step-parents, especially step-mothers, tend to get a bad wrap. Just ask Cinderella about her experience.

A new book by an Arizona writer is taking the stereotype of 'evil step-mother' to task. It's called "My Bonus Mom," and Tami Butcher wrote it with kinds in mind.

Butcher, along her mom, Candice Nagel, and her "bonus mom," Nancy Jeffries, sat down with Tara Hitchcock to talk about their experience as a blended family and the concept of a bonus mom.
