TUCSON, Ariz. -- A $100,000 has been awarded to the U of A Steele Center for pediatric cancer research.
It's part of Hyundai Motor America's Hope on Wheels program. The money will focus on research for treatment of relapsed acute leukemia following stem cell transplants.
At Wednesday's ceremony, children affected by cancer put their hand prints in colorful paint on the official vehicle of the Hope on Wheels tour.
