 Boeing Boeing, presented by Phoenix Theatre, open through September 11. Based on the film starring Jerry Lewis, where a man tries juggling relationships with three flight attendants, but when schedules change, flights are delayed, and a new and faster jet is introduced, his system hits turbulence. Through September 11: Tuesday-Thursday 7:30 pm, Friday 8:00 pm, Saturday 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Sunday 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm, and Wednesday (9/7) 1:00 pm. **Half (1/2) off tickets are available on Chase TicketMarketplace for this weekend's performances--Today & Tomorrow tickets! The Heard Museum presents a Special Labor Day Performance by Brian Hammill, hoop dancing on Monday, September 5, at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm at the Heard Museum. Brian Hammill (from the Ho-Chuck nation) is the 2009 World Champion Hoop Dancer and the 2011 World Senior Champion Hoop Dancer and he’s a great performer! In addition to the performances, visitors can enjoy the Heard Museum’s 11 exhibit galleries. It’s a great way to beat the heat at the official end of summer.

Ballet Arizona's 2011-12 Fairytale Season (re-do from last week), at The Phoenix Symphony Hall, prefect family-friendly fun, great way to introduce kids to arts and culture. Arizona's ballet preimere of Cinderella (October 20-23), The Nutcracker a holiday classic (December 9-24) and The Sleeping Beauty, a treasured fairytale (Fabruary 9-12, 2012). Steel Magnolias presented by Arizona Broadway Theatre, in Peoria, open through September 25. Six very different Southern women come together to share their secrets, fears and love for one another while keeping up with neighborhood gossip at the local beauty salon. Dinner theater! Showtimes include: Tuesday-Friday 5:30 pm (Dinner) with 7:30 pm (Performance); Saturday and Sunday 12:00 pm (Dining) with 2:00 pm (Performance), and 5:30 pm (Dinner) with 7:30 pm (Performance).
