Green Valley man impaled himself with pruning shearsPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- An 86-year-old Arizona man doing yard work suffered an injury not for the faint of heart.
A Green Valley man accidentally impaled himself with pruning shears. It happened July 30.
He dropped the shears point-down into the ground but fell when he leaned over to pick them up.
The handle went through his eye socket.
After surgeons fixed him up, the man just has minor double vision and swelling in his eye lids.
