TUCSON, Ariz. -- School just started, but already we have a young U of A student assaulted by three men.

The woman was walking along near fourth street and highland when it happened.  The suspects are white, college-aged men.

The U of A Police Department has safety tips for people walking alone late on campus.

"Avoid walking alone either early in the morning or late at night try to walk in groups with your friends stay in well lit areas," said Sgt. Juan Alvarez from the University of Arizona Police Department.

Don't take short cuts through dark or deserted areas, and you can utilize Safe Ride or Night Cat to get around campus safely at night.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
