Brewer's time running out on Primary changePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Governor Jan Brewer will decide soon whether to change Arizona's Primary date, to give the state a bigger voice in deciding presidential candidates.
The current date is February 28.
A proposed change would move it up to January 31, which is before the Iowa caucus, the traditional first Primary of the election season.
Brewer has until Saturday to decide.
The change, however, would violate Republican party rules.
