  • Red Rocks Music Festival: Chamber Music on Wednesday, August 31 at the Tempe Center for the Arts at 7 pm
  • Baroque on the Rocks on Thursday, September 1 at the Musical Instrument Museum at 7 pm
  • Sonya and Elizabeth Schumann performing "four hands piano," at the Musical Instrument Museum, August 30 at 7 pm

All 3 events are also performed in Sedona: Schumann, Sunday August 28 at 3 pm; Baroque on the Rocks, Saturday, September 3 at 6:30pm; and Chamber Music, Sunday, September 4 at 3pm.

  • Romeo & Juliet presented by Theater Works: Only Two Weekends Left! Wednesday through Sunday shows, through September 4. Passion, forbidden love, sword fights. Shakespeare’s “sexiest play” has it all. Romeo & Juliet is back in the West Valley after 20 years with a fresh and exciting production!
  • Oedipus for Kids presented by Nearly Naked at the Phoenix Little Theater Thursday through Sunday shows, open through September 10. [NOT FOR KIDS] Alternative theater for adults only.
  • Ballet Arizona's 2011-12 Fairytale Season
