Valley Metro bus drivers expected to go on strike WednesdayPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – Bus drivers with Valley metro are expected to go on strike possibly starting Wednesday.
Valley Metro drivers rejected a contract offer Tuesday night from Veolia Transportations Services by a vote of 96 percent no’s to 4 percent yes’s.
The strike could affect services on 31 routes starting Wednesday.
Smart and Dash buses, as well as one Express and three Rapid buses would also make fewer trips.
