House, business, car fires around Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson firefighters were on the scene of a house fire Sunday morning just off Kino Parkway near 36th Street.

Heavy smoke was coming from the windows when they arrived, but nobody was at home.

It took twenty-one fire fighters about six minutes to put the flames out.

The damage is estimated at $35,000 and the fire's cause still under investigation.

MARANA, Ariz. -- A Marana Circle K store has been shut down after a fire broke out inside.

Northwest fire responded around 7 P.M. to the gas station on Sandario Road near Marana Road and I-10.

Northwest Fire spokesman Adam Goldberg says firefighters limited smoke and fire damage to a bathroom.

The store is closed while Pima County Health Department officials inspect, but it was expected to re-open later Sunday night.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- An update now to Saturday night's fiery rollover on I-10 near Marana.

We've learned four of the six people hospitalized have been released, but the other two remain at UMC in stable condition.

Two female passengers-- 13 and 20-years old and two boys, 9 and 16-years old-- were discharged Sunday.

Their van flipped over when the driver lost control after a tire blew out at a high rate of speed.
