Tucson family asks for help in year old murderPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- One year after a deadly shooting at the Pearl Nightclub, the family of Anthony Duron is still looking for answers.
Now they need the public's help in finding whoever killed the young father.
Step by step, friends and family walk in remembrance of Anthony Duron. There hope is somebody can recall what happened to him on August 15 of last year.
"I think what they probably feel, they know they did wrong and they're scared to come forward," said Duron's cousin Victoria Zatarain.
As Duron and others were hanging out in the Pearl parking lot in the early morning hours, a fight broke out and someone started shooting. Sadly Duron was hit and killed.
"He was just a great person, he was everything to us," said Duron's mother Nancy Lugo.
The family has gone to the public for help before, but Tucson police detectives have more questions that need to be answered.
"They still have more questions. We need some of those people who have already called to call back and answer a few more question for the detectives," said Duron's aunt Elizabeth Maldonado.
The walked ended where Duron was laid to rest. His family would like to put this case to rest, but they know it won't bring back their loved one.
Anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
