A deadly accident in Phoenix Monday night left one woman dead and put one man in the hospital.
It happened at 43rd Avenue and Peoria around 8 p.m.
A man, woman and child in a stroller had just stepped off the curb to cross the street when they were struck by a car.
The woman, said to be in her early 50s, was killed. The man was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The four-year-old child was not hurt, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
