TUCSON, Ariz. -- The man mauled by his pit bull weeks ago still clinging to life.

Reportedly Michael Cook had to have his left arm amputated on Friday and there's still a chance the right one will need the same.

That may happen Monday.

He is currently on kidney dialysis.  Doctors say his liver is failing.

Family members say his condition is critical.

Cook was mauled by his pit bull butch outside his home back on August 3.

The family has decided to euthanize butch.
