Pita Pizza Taco

PHOENIX -- Holly Mosier, author of "Stress Less, Weigh Less" says this simple recipe is one of her personal favorites.

1 whole-wheat pita
2 oz. low-fat shredded mozzarella (pre-packaged is fine)
1/4 cup spaghetti sauce

Place a whole-wheat pita on a cooking sheet. Pour spaghetti sauce on top and spread as desired.

Sprinkle low-fat shredded mozzarella over the sauce.

Broil in the oven until the cheese bubbles.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool for a minute or two, then fold it in half like a taco. It’s
easy to eat and tasty.

Made as list, this dish is approximately 365 calories. To make into a dinner portion -- about 445 total calories -- simply add another ounce of low-fat cheese.

For a variation, you can stuff your Pita Pizza Taco with roasted veggies.
