Alleged 'Scottsdale creeper' arrested again

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Police arrested a man accused of peeking into several apartment homes in the Scottsdale area.

Scottsdale officers responded to a complex in the 4000 block of North Drinkwater Boulevard at about 1 a.m. on July 8 in reference to a man looking into the window of an apartment.

The witness told officers he recognized the man and identified him as Benjamin Grant, who also goes by Benjamin Fuchs. She said she knew him from the past. The suspect had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.

Detectives began to conduct surveillance on Grant shortly after the incident. On Aug. 6 officers allegedly saw Grant make multiple stops at different apartment complexes.

He was taken into custody by Scottsdale police after he was observed looking into windows and jumping 3- to 4-foot walls in order to enter patios at two locations.

Grant faces multiple counts of attempted voyeurism, voyeurism and burglary. He was arrested for similar crimes in 2008.
