PHOENIX – A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to a suspect who committed armed robbery at an adult video store.

A man described as a black male between 18 and 35 years old entered the Adult Video Center on the 700 block of E. Buckeye Road on July 23 at about 8:30 p.m.

Police say he produced a shotgun and pointed it at the employee. He demanded money from the register and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses told officers they saw the suspect get into the driver’s seat of a two-door Cadillac with tinted windows.

The suspect is described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white jacket, jeans and a blue bandana.

Police are looking for a person of interest who may or may not be the suspect in this armed robbery case. He entered the store a few minutes prior to the burglary and looked at several items in the store. That man also reportedly asked the worker about possible employment before leaving the store. He is also described as a black male between 18 and 35 years old.
