TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Muscular Dystrophy Association, headquartered in the Foothills of Tucson, has cut ties with its national chairman and most famous member.
Comedian Jerry Lewis has helped raise one billion dollars for the MDA over the last 45 years.
No one is saying why the 85-year-old is no longer involved. This labor day telethon was going to be his last.
