Loughner exams should not be videotaped, jude rulesPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Thursday a federal judge ruled psychiatric exams of January 8 shooting suspect, Jared Loughner, should not be videotaped.
The order denies a request from defense attorneys who argued the tapes would help protect Loughner's constitutional rights.
The judge decided a camera hindered a previous exam and could delay future ones.
Loughner is currently being held at a facility in Springfield, Missouri.
