Early Christmas at UMCPosted: Updated:
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Christmas came early for children at University Medical Center.
Santa and representatives from Tucson police handed out gifts to children receiving cancer treatment at the hospital.
Toys were collected during the month of July and today they were given to some pretty happy children.
"It was quite a shock, but it was also a delightful surprise Dana has been in for chemotherapy for the last few days and its hard for her to not be out with her friends and doing all the fun things at home and this just brought a smile to her face," said parent Michelle Morgan.
More than a hundred children will receive gifts from the Fourth annual Christmas in July toy drive.
