Deadly I-10 crash; Boy drowns at Tucson apartment complex

TUCSON, Ariz. -- One person was killed and two others injured when their vehicle rolled over on I -10 in Vail Sunday afternoon.

It happened after two, near the Arizona 83 junction.

DPS officers responded to a one-vehicle wreck on eastbound I-10.  One person was ejected from the vehicle and died.

Paramedics airlifted two others to the hospital.

After that, two more vehicles collided behind the first accident, followed by a third crash involving two other cars.

No serious injuries were reported in those two crashes.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A 4-year-old boy died Sunday night after he was pulled from an apartment swimming pool.

Tucson police were called to the complex near Alvernon and Glenn around 4:30 P.M. because a boy had gone missing.

An officer found the boy in the pool, pulled him out and gave him CPR.  He was sent to the hospital for treatment.

He died a short time later.
