PHOENIX - Two people are in the hospital with serious life threatening injuries after an accident late Friday night near the Loop 101 and 35th Avenue.
The two victims had been ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
The 35-year-old male and 30-year-old female were transported to the hospital and are still listed in extremely critical condition.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained no injuries.
Investigators determined both victims were traveling southbound on 35th Avenue in a 1999 Yukon and collided with a Buick sedan. The sedan failed to yield while making a left turn.
The Yukon rolled and were ejected as neither were wearing a seat belt.
Colleen Corbin, 47, was the driver of the Buick and was impaired at the time of the crash.
