U.S. Hispanic population booming

Census data from 2010 reveals a booming Hispanic population in the U.S.

And that growing number of latinos has more to do with birth than immigration.

According to a Pew Hispanic center study, the Mexican-American population grew by 11.4 million over the last decade.

Nearly two thirds of that growth, about 63%, came as a result of U.S. births.
