PHOENIX – Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne has filed a lawsuit against a Tempe-based company for allegedly deceptive telephone solicitation practices.
Horne filed the lawsuit against Abode Air, LLC, an air conditioning and heating service and installation company.
Horne's office has requested a temporary restraining order, a permanent injunction and civil penalties against the company. A court date has been set for Aug. 8.
The Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau have received hundreds of consumer complaints regarding Abode Air's telephone solicitations, many from senior citizens.
