Monsoon breakPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Our monsoon moisture has shifted east, leaving drier air in its place across Arizona. That means limited thunderstorm chances today in far Eastern Arizona, and a dry and calm day for the rest of the state.
Temperatures today will be similar to yesterday, but with lower humidity levels, it will feel more comfortable.
The drier air also means we'll cool down more at night. Overnight lows will drop into the 70s over the next couple of nights and mornings. Afternoon highs stay around 101 to 103 through Friday.
Temperatures start to warm back up over the weekend, and the chance of storms returns to our forecast Sunday and into early next week.
